So This World Cup Thing Isn’t About A Giant Jockstrap?

Happy New Release CD/DVD/Blu-Ray Tuesday to everybody!
Cyndi Lauper may be singing the blues on her new album today, but we’re working overtime here at Gaylias Central. Okay, I’m working overtime…here…at home…staff of one.
No cover art yet.
For those of you who can’t read this enough, who haven’t read it yet or who ignored it, the launch is scheduled as follows (with reminders to follow):
Saturday, July 24th 3-5pm
290 W. 9 Mile Road (near Woodward)
Common Language Books (734-663-0036) in Ann Arbor is handling the books, so, please, if you can’t make the signing and are looking to get a copy of the book, consider ordering one from them and I’ll sign it at the signing before it’s sent to you. I’d really like to help support as many gay businesses out there as I can and Common Language has been wonderful to me.
Still no cover art. (I just checked)
Aside from the launch, I’ve been EXTREMELY fortunate to interest around 15 reviewers to look at the new book. They’re asking for cover art. Are you seeing a pattern here? I’m also finishing up a couple of interviews that will be posted on the web…once I have the aforementioned absent cover art.
It also looks like I’ll be doing signings at Pride in the Park in South Bend, Indiana on August 29th and then in Palm Springs at Pride Fest on November 6 & 7. More to come as I contact places…and I get cover art.
I’ll also be updating KageAlandotcom in the next couple of weeks, too. Still waiting on you-know-what. It was also suggested to me by the force behind the creation of the site that I add a blog to it. I like the idea since it’s another way for me to be mouthy.
And, finally, a HUGE thank you to all the folks who wished me a happy birthday this past weekend…or the smart asses who referred to me as ancient or stated that 40 is the new 39. You will get yours.
